Chin community leaders from Vancouver (BC), Calgary (AB), Edmonton (AB), Regina (SK), Winnipeg (MB), Ottawa and Kitchener (Ontario) sits together at least twice a year to share information and discuss the current issues involving Chin community in Canada, Chin diasporas around the world and current situation effecting Chin people in Myanmar.

The community leaders maintains good relationship not just among themselves but to everyone so that all matters related to Chin community in Canada can be shared together and join hands to assist each others in it. Although Chin people came from Myanmar which is a nation controlled by military dictators and 86% of the total populations there are Buddhists, the Chin are strong protestant Christians and the first thing they try to have everywhere they are as a community is having a Christian church where they all can congregate.
