Military Conscription in Myanmar
Since the military regime is heavily losing it combat troops nationwide, they are now forcibly resorting to revitalize the defunct conscription law and conspiring to amass 50,000 young people within one year into the army. Taking good chance on the conscription law, many authorities working for military regime are exploiting families of young people to give them huge amount of money to spare their young children from conscription. Especially families with low income in the cities and those living in suburban areas have to borrow money or sell their properties to bribe the authorities or send their children to neighbouring countries such as Thailand and Malaysia in the east and India and Bangladesh in he west to escape from the conscription.
The military regime is losing almost everyday large numbers of it troops stationed in the frontlines such as Shan state, Kachin state, Rakhine, Chin, Karen and Kayah state. There is no reinforcements for military regime in every battle they fought with people defence forces except to help their combat troops on grounds by dropping bombs using military jet fighters which only indiscrimately killed innocent civilians and destroyed public properties but not at all for winning the war for the junta army.
