Our goal is to create collective and collaborative environments within Chin communities in Canada to be a helping and productive community always ready to become a better community in a multicultural society and help Chin newcomers interact and engage well with communities, neighbors, and Canadians.

Education

Chin Community of Canada strongly supports education for our younger generation in their learning to receive innovative skills, scientific technologies and higher learning opportunities in Canada. Since Myanmar has had the worst education system since the 1960s, Chin people are encouraged to learn new education systems in North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and other parts of the world where they are now living. In Canada, most young Chins are in schools, and 90% of Chin youth in high schools successfully graduated.

Sport & Recreation

Canada Chin Community supports our younger generation to be involved in Canadian sports such as hockey, baseball, volleyball, tennis and soccer. Chin communities across Canada have leaders in their respective cities who organize recreation events such as picnics, youth camps and cultural events in which all community members actively participate every year. We strongly support Chin-traditional music, dances and our ancestral custom so that the younger Chin generation can carry on to the next generations.
